Journey with Kate Burbeck as she gazes down her own navel, searching for the cause of it all, for the very root of the c*nt (in the etymological sense).

Welcome To My Cuntry is travelling to the Adelaide Fringe Festival for performances on 17-20 February 2017! Before we go, we would like to invite you to join voices at the Totem Theatre on 10 & 11 February 2017 and sing with the Kookaburra as she wakes up the sun in Alice Springs! Bring your own totem, or discover one during the show.

Welcome To My Cuntry, which was written and produced by Kate Burbeck, aims to bring a voice to subversive and taboo subjects intertwined with conversations about the spiritual. Bringing together Burbeck's writing over many years, the production's development in Alice Springs, NT, has been a highly collaborative process with both cast members and director, John Bridgefoot.

Compared to the satyr plays of the ancient Greeks, Welcome To My Cuntry blurs the line between satanic ritual and artistic performance, unveilling the mystique of obscenity and its potential to unleash tremendous power. Think Donnie Darko meets Carrie meets The Rocky Horror Picture Show on a stage!

Proceeds from these performances will assist the cast and crew in taking part in the Adelaide Fringe Festival 2017.
